Chelsea and I heading out for a walk on Christmas day |
All I did was change into some flat suede boots. I had on navy chinos, a thin long sleeve t, and a cotton cable v-neck. Then I wore the coat I have on in the above pic, gloves and pulled a fleece neck warmer over my head, under the hood of the coat. It was thirty degrees, and even with gloves, my hands were cold.
I struck out at a pace that Doug told Chelsea was faster than he could run. I was ready to move and burn off some tension! For some reason I got a wild hair and decide to jog a bit. I certainly wasn't dressed for it and didn't have on a sports bra. The girls bounced along singing "Oh what fun it is to ride..." well, not quite, but you get the picture. In no time at all, my hands were warm enough to pull off my gloves. My hair was wet as was other bodily parts and clothing.
As I write, I sit, fresh from the shower in pajamas, in front of the fire.
In all we walked/jogged for an hour.
It felt so good to get out and move.
Chelsea thought so, too.

It really does help, doesn't it?
Now you've got the kinks out, and ready to relax. What better way than jammies, fire and dog at side?
Yup, moving helps. Glad to hear you had a shower after all the swet. lol
Ha - Cheryl, you rock!! Seriously, this is awesome. I love that feeling (sadly one I haven't gotten in awhile) when the urge to MOVE just overtakes everything else.
LOVE it! Enjoy that fire!
We can never take moving for granted either - can we?
glad you had some fun!
