A wonderful thirteen

this is the wonderful place that Doug found for $50./night
kitchenette to the left of the chair, bath to the right,
lanai straight ahead
Banyan tree in the Hilo park
(the dude in the crazy swim trunks is dug)
amazing
look carefully- there is a little boy waaaaaay up there
how did he get up there? and how did he get down?

farmer's market, Hilo style
we bought papayas 5/$2. we ate papaya nearly every day
I wanted to buy them all, but you can't take them out of Hawaii
I wish I could have bought honey, too. I love honey.
flowers hanging at a restaurant
Doug wanted me to take pictures of them.

For us, February thirteenth was only lucky, it was a wonderful day.
Just another day in paradise.

Wow, the flowers and fauna are so lush there! What a steal of a room. It looks so homey and comfortable, what a deal.
That trip is one you'll remember always.

I went to Hawaii a couple of times years ago - you can't really compare it's beauty and the colors there to any place else - can you? So different.

Hi Cheryl, what a wonderful adventure you had. I was in awe of the photos at the summit, showing the tops of clouds in the background.

$50 a night, what a deal and it looks so quaint!
