June!

To celebrate the first of June, Chelsea and I did the Clear Creek trail last night.  We did the whole trail (5 miles) in an hour and a half.  We shuffled along a bit.  I have found that it isn't the amount of distance that we travel, but rather, the speed.  It was hot.  I allowed Chelsea to get into the creek a couple of times and there is a doggy fountain along the way.  I had a small bottle of water.  Last night was the Duggles soccer night, so we went out to the park and tail-gated with the team.  Dug noted how well behaved Chelsea was.  I told him..."she has been worn out now for two nights in a row.

Lovely, don't you think?
These berries are found in a tree in the back yard.

June is upon us, which is amazing to me.  I have quite a lot of plans...Vintage wine festival in Indianapolis, Relay for Life, and council weekend.  The month will fly by, I'm certain.
**Another new layout in such a short while?  My friend, the other Cheryl, has had problems reading my blog since I last changed the template.  I am attempting to use the blogger designer template.  There are many elements that I appreciate- others that I continue to struggle with.  Please let me know if you have any difficulty reading my blog.

Hi Cheryl, pretty layout, like the poppies. Hey, I haven't used a clothes line in a long time, I bet your clothes smell real good . . does the sunlight actually make your clothes brighter? About my scripture posting, don't know the song for that scripture. I was trying to respond back on my blog in the comment section, but it weren't let me . . I'm doing something wrong, what do I need to change, I used an IMAC at home, does it have something to do with that? Emailed me if you have an answer . . help! Sandy

Sandy, I'm glad you mentioned the poppies, because I can't see them and that is what I wanted but I thought "oh, no, I clicked on the clouds, instead." The only thing I don't like on the line are my towels. I like them dried in the dryer. I dunno nothing about the IMAC. I'm a dell laptop girl, here. hope you get it figured out.

I love your new look, but I never had trouble any of reading them.

You had a great walk with your pal.

I don't have a place for a clothes line, but I would like one - I had one years ago.

Sounds like your June is a busy one.

The walk sounds like fun, esp with the company you had! Hard to believe it's June already, eh? Once the weather turned warmer, there was no stopping it!

This is an easy to read. Nice!

Cheryl, this background is much easier to read through. The whole designer template thing is not working really well these days. When I first used it, I could see the effect each change had on my blog. Now I can't. Also, I used to be able to change one minor thing without having to go back and reformat my entire blog; that's not working either.

Your photos are lovely and good for you for keeping your activity level high. Gotta love those endorphins!

Hi Cheryl~
Wow....you are certainly a busy girl! Way to go on the walking....did you get down by our barn or just stay on the paved part?? Oh....I forgot to tell you...I have gotten all the mundane done...but the shaving of the legs.....(LOL)! Good new though....the older I get the less hairy I am!
Blessings~Hope
