"We interrupt this blog..."

On Saturday, I did the Relay.  I have photos and want to tell you all about it!
Sunday, I attempted to post and my photos were loading ever so s-l-o-w-l-y.
Sunday night, due to storms, we didn't have electricity.
Last night, I was in TJMaxx and we were evacuated to the back hallway of the store because of tornadoes in the area.  As soon as I was able, I took my purchases (2 pair of unders for Doug, Gray Flannel deodorant for Doug, Chi hairspray for me) to the check-out, paid and drove home.  It was a scary ride home.  While running to my car, I heard a transformer blow.  Clear Creek which runs parallel to our road was up even with the road and there was about an inch of water over the road.
Then, couldn't blog last night because the cable was out.
Doug watched a dvd and I went to bed.
Hopefully, we will be able to resume this evening.

YIKES! So scary that you were out in that! I'm so glad that you & family are ok.

We were fortunately inside but I had to wake the kids up to take them downstairs. There was no way they were getting back to sleep after that...hence, long night and I'm anticipating a long day today. :)

Oh my - - - this reminds me of those old stories about the person who writes home about "nothing much is happening except - - -" and then proceeds to relate one tale of woe after another! You have had your share of storm and blogging tribulations!!!!

I LOVE the substitute picture of the "witch" on her bicycle anyway!

Well I share your fear of that moment. I also appreciate you sense of humour. The picture from "OZ" is a classic and remembered by so many. Hope all's well again.

Hi Cheryl,

I've never been in a store that moved me to the back of it for safety. That must have been scary.

I'm in LA and we did have a little earthquake here. I'll be home this weekend.

Missed you.

Scary time. I'm glad you made it home through the impending doom. Seems like the touchdown Jesus didn't fare as well as you.

We have had some crazy weather this month!!!! I'm glad you made it home ok! Where I live our road gets flooded and will flood us in or out. I try to keep a good eye on the weather so I won't get flooded out.

Hugs,
Angela
